One of many business activities is quick access to funding (or capital). A new business will need this to get started and an established business might need this to expand or consolidated its debts.
There are many organisations that can provide access to funding, below is a list of a few of them :-
- Funding Circle allows normal people to lend money to small businesses and get a decent return (Typically 7%). It was started in 2010.
- Crowdcube was started in 2011 and is a British investment crowdfunding platform. It was created Darren Westlake and Luke Lang. It allows normal people to invest in start-ups. They often have pitching events in London.
- Seedrs enables all types of investors to invest in businesses they believe in and share in their success. They enable all types of growth-focused businesses to raise capital and a community in the process.
- Accelerate Funding provides quick access to funding or grants. They have been working in business finance for over ten years. Their main purpose is to bring all the various components (R&D claims, grants, SEIS, EIS) together in one place.
